Our little bunny was born September 23, 2014 and life has been such a change and a blessing ever since. Here are some lovely baby bunny stats for you:mason1

Our little bunny is now almost 10 weeks old (don’t EVEN get me started on that, by the way! I swear, I want him to stay a baby forEVAH!) and he is such a joy. We are beyond blessed to have him in our loves. He’s so sweet, happy and really such a chill little guy. We barely see him upset! Words can’t express how becoming a Mommy has changed me in such a wonderful and lovely way.

I’m baaaack!

Hellllllooooo!

Wow, guys. Wow. It’s been like, a million years since my last blog post. Life sometimes gets in the way of blogs though, but I really wanted to update and let my lovely followers know what’s been going on the last few months.

Last time I updated, I was a couple months pregnant and Mike and I were engaged. I’m now 7 months pregnant and Mike and I are MARRIED! Gasp! I know, I know.

It all happened so fast. We decided that we didn’t want a huge wedding. Not even a small wedding. We wanted to elope. And boy, did we. This past May, we went to Paris for 16 days and while we were there, got married beneath the Eiffel Tower. We were married on May 28 at 6pm (Paris time) and it was absolutely perfect for us.

wSo now, we’re married and in two months going to have a beautiful little baby! My pregnancy has been going well. I’ve had some painful times. Some restless times. Some crazy times. But also lots of great and wonderful times. Baby is kicking like crazy all the time! I also haven’t gained a whole lot of weight, and still working out and doing my yoga! I seem to have these bursts of energy through the day, which I take advantage of. I’m 7 months pregnant and my belly has finally just popped and STILL people don’t know I’m preggy!

baby4All in all, it’s been a crazy year! And on top of all of that, Mike and I are moving! We’re staying in the same city, just wanting more space and moving soon, which is stressful with a capital stress!

So, that’s that. I’m sure there is way more, but that will be for another post 😉

Best Dang Auction Company Evah!

You may not know this about Mike and I… but we’re an auction family! Well, him and his family are. I came along for the ride the moment he and I started dating.

Wards Auctions has been around for many, many, MANY years. Mikes Dad (sarcastic, funny, smartass. Just like him!) is the fabulous auctioneer and the leader of the pack, and the whole dang fam jam helps out. Mikes Mom, Jayne, is the “Auction Goddess”, and his siblings and I are there as well helping out when we are needed.

Mike and I are ALWAYS in the office during auction days. I’m the auction princess and he’s the one who makes everything work and he makes our lives much easier with his “can fix any problem and answer any question” ways. He’s Wards wonder child. He knows it. We all knows it.

So, if you’re an auction buff, know someone who is or even a virgin auction-going newbie (welcome to the dark side!), you should check us out! DO IT.

Don’t live in or near Edmonton? Excuses, excuses. Well, we’re online! So no excuses for you! 😉

Check out our website (wardsauctions.com) and also our new blog! (auctionhouseblues.com)

Thank you, all! See you at the next auction!

Gasp! We’re Engaged! And going to Paris! And having a baby!

The title says it all! Mike and I recently got engaged, this past April 5 🙂 He proposed with THE most perfect and beautiful ring of my life.

As some of you know already, we’re expecting our first baby this coming September and couldn’t be happier. Now, we’ve decided to pack up for Paris next month! We’ve never been and we are beyond excited.

My pregnancy is going well, I’m almost 18 weeks and STILL have yet to gain much weight or even much of a belly. But I’m enjoying it all very much.

Just wanted to keep my loyal followers up to speed on life and why I haven’t been updating as much! I sowwie!

I hope you’re all as blessed as I am and I wish you all the most lovely Easter weekend with your friends and family.

Big News!

Ello everyone!

I know, I know. It’s been like a million years. I took a little break from updating my blogs. Alot has been going on these past few months though, so I think I have an ok excuse 😉

First of all, I’ve been teaching more yoga classes which was great. I love what I do and that’s a wonderful thing to be able to say. Second, I’ve been trying to help my sweetheart, Mike, achieve his dream in writing his very own graphic novel. We’ve been bouncing ideas off of eachother and I know that whatever he comes up with, will be great.

And finally… drum roll… Mike and I are so very happy to announce that we’re having a baby! Yep, that’s right. Yours truly is preggy 🙂 I’m almost 11 weeks now and so far, it’s been a draining but amazing experience. I’ve had “morning” sickness all day, everyday since about week 5 and if anything, I seemed to have LOST weight. But I can’t wait to start showing, and I can’t wait for September when our little one is due to arrive. Mike and I (and our families) are so beyond happy and we can’t wait to be parents. I couldn’t have asked for a better father for my little one 🙂

So I hope you can all forgive me for not updating as much, but like I said, life has got in the way. In the most loveliest of ways ❤

Ps. This is how we announced our news on Facebook. Stick Dinosaur style 😉

YTT – Day 2

Day 2 is done like dinnah! Today was pretty good, we have another teacher for today and tomorrow and I believe a few other times. Apparently, all the girls “fall in love” with him too. Haha. Not sure what that means, but he was a rather great instructor.

He taught us all about the Doshas and how to tell the differences between all three. Vatta, Pitta and Kapha are the types and they are each different in their own way. Like I said in my blog yesterday, I encourage you to Google “Dosha quiz” and take the test to see which one you are! And after today, I think I may start to lead a more Ayurveda type diet and lifestyle, as that’s what we learned about today and it all made alot of sense to me. It’s not for everyone, but it’s a plant based diet (check!) and alot of healing meditation and yoga (also check!), plus some other really interesting things that all kind of, spoke to me today, I guess you could say. It was a really eye opening experience. We also did a really yin yoga session (which was still painful for me, but I pushed through!) and some meditation.

I noticed that meditation is really hard for me and it’s something I need to really focus on. I can’t sit still. Well, I can but my mind really can’t. It’s going a mile a minute with so many things, it’s hard for me to clear it and let go of it all. I’m much better at doing a really hard yoga session, than doing a really light yin one.

We also watched the nutrition documentary “Forks Over Knives”, which I strongly recommend you all go watch right now. NOW! Rawrrr. I keep telling people to lead a plant based lifestyle, but nobody listens to me. Well, ok. Some people do actually listen. But seriously, the effects that food has on our mind, body and souls is astonishing. And a plant based diet can help and even reverse dis-eases like cancer and heart dis-eases.

(Did you notice I wrote dis-ease, instead of disease? That’s pretty much what a disease is! It’s a dis-ease. As in, you have no ease. Get it? I thought that was pretty clever when he mentioned that today. Haha.)

So to sum up, the day went well. I’m sore and exhausted but I get a massage tonight from Mike so yay for that 😉

Let’s Play

Ello, my lovelies!

(In case you missed the link before because you weren’t PAYING ATTENTION)

😉

I’mma make this short and sweet. Click this link: Maxiamaru!

What is it, you ask? Well, you should have just trusted me! But since you don’t, *wipes away tears*, lemme tell you a little about it.

My boyfriends younger brother, Max, is a wonderful sort. He collects swords, plays guitar, does HARDCORE PARKOUR (sorry, I just love saying that with gumption) and has a wicked awesome Youtube channel. He does “Let’s Play” videos, where he basically plays video games. But it’s so much more than that, oh yes. He adds one important thing, HUMOR! Laughter and video games? What could be better?

So click the link, follow him and be a creeper if you want! Creep all up on him.

(Maybe don’t do that so much, but do check out his stuff. For me! Also him.)
